-y/n and shubman had been dating for almost 3 and a half years now, both of them are so in love that long distance never really stopped them from being madly in love with eachother.
Shubman was a cricketer and he loved to play for his nation. Despite him being very popular and having a huge fanbase all around the world and India itself this never stopped them from being there for one another. After many hardships, ups and downs their relationship was going smooth.
At first when they started dating and hanging out people would constantly hate on her for being the girl of shubman's dreams yet she understood that with fame money and power comes hate too
Shubman was just 20 when he became the youngest cricket player to have an orange cap in India. His career was getting much better and better though in the start he got a tiny crush on his inspiration Sachin Tendulkar's daughter. And he regrets it with his whole heart now, because of this small attraction people won't stop teasing him whenever he's in sight
And this affected y/n to the core, it's not like she was the jealous toxic girlfriend or didn't trusted shub, but this was getting out of hand. To handle the situation bravely, shubman and y/n decided to make their relationship public And it eventually worked. After 4 month's the media/paparazzi made people fall in love with the couple, support them unconditionally and happily accept them as who they are

Today was a match between Gujarat Titans vs Mumbai Indians, as obvious shubman was gonna play from gt.Right now everyone were in the practice ground, doing the regular exercises they do before every match to strengthen their muscles.
ICT wives were also present there, watching their husband's/boyfriends work out and having a huge gossip session between them.
Y/n was kinda late today due to some reasons at work (she was the brand ambassador of chanel for India and at that time of the month had been going pretty busy for her)
The security guards quickly let her in since everyone knew who she was, y/n rushed in the stadium and passed a quick smile to everyone present there. The girls welcomed her and she sat with them soon catching up in conversation

The coach gave the boys a break since they were practicing for almost 2 hours now. Some went to their respective partners, some were seen having a cup of water with the fellows while some sat with the teammates for awhile.
Virat, kl Rahul, dhoni and many other fellow cricketers had came for the match because of a reason according to shubman.
Virat nudged shubman to have a seat with his girlfriend and not be a meanie. shub laughed at his tactics and walked in y/n's direction, he sat beside her and placed his arm on her waist
"What's up miss Kapoor" He asked placing his head on the crook of her neck. Y/n laughed and pulled him closer to herself
"Nothing really, i was watching my favourite boy practice" She replied pecking his forehead
"I miss spending time with you darling, wait till the match is over I'll take you on a perfect date" He said smiling
"Dates can wait shubii, what matters to me is your health and happiness"
They stayed in that position for good 20 minutes, having a nice conversation. Though shubman was acting a bit weird today, he would look at ishan and kl Rahul every now and then which made y/n think what is going wrong but she shrugged it off
Soon it was time for the match, both teams left to get ready in their jerseys after bidding everyone wishes to win. The girls went to their assigned seats while fans started entering the stadium with much joy
Soon the stadium was filled with mi and gt fans, they were screaming, hooting and impatiently waiting for their favourite teams to enter the ground. The commentators for today was Mr Harbhajan Singh and Kapil dev

The match was a the best of 2023, GT had just won and MI was genuinely happy for them, MI fans were a bit disappointed but it was okay for now. All thanks to shubman gill for his amazing performance.
The teammates were having a group hug in the middle of the ground just then gt players left the ground leaving shubman all alone in the match podium. Everyone seemed to notice the particular move and commentators already knew what was going to take place in Narendra Modi stadium today
The ground was empty with a shubman gill in the middle smiling at a certain part of the stands vip area. The stadium went silent for awhile, curious to know what's happening.
A worker came running to shub and provided him a mic.
